
Another yummy recipe from my mother, Judy South's, extensive collection of bean recipes:
Zippy Pinto Bean Dip
(Deseret Recipes)
1 cup pinto beans, mashed
1 cup catsup
1/2 cup sweet pickles, finely cut
1 teaspoon onions, diced (if desired)
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon savory salt
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
Combine and serve with chips or fish.
